    PanARMENIAN.Net - Murder of Gyumri mayor Vardan Ghukasyan's daughter's
fiance has nothing to do with politics, Armenian police chief Vladimir
    Gasparyan said.

At a round table organized ahead of the parliamentary elections,
Gasparyan told journalists this homicide case has no political
    implication.

"There are no crimes that cannot be disclosed," police chief declared,
adding that this case will be unveiled very soon.

Karen Yesayan, 27, fiance of Armenian Gyumri city mayor Vardan
Ghukasyan's daughter, was killed on April 12 night. Engagement of
the couple was due on April 13.

The incident happened in Sev Berd part of Mother Armenia memorial
complex in Gyumri. Yesayan's corpse was found in a Mercedes-Benz with
    gunshot wounds.

On April 12, rumors circulated in Gyumri and also on the internet
that Ani region former police chief's son, allegedly seen fleeing
the crime scene, is suspect in this case of homicide. The reports,
    however, are not confirmed officially.

Meanwhile, Rafik Muradyan, born in 1989, hit Vahram Beybutyan, senior
investigator of Armenia's Shirak province investigation department,
with his VAZ-21013 car at Garegin Nzhdeh 7 in Gyumri at 00:50 on
    April 12.

Beybutyan, born in 1954, who was member of the investigation group
    examining the murder of Karen Yesayan, died on the way to hospital;
    Muradyan is detained.
