An Azeri private was wounded as a result of ceasefire violations by
the Armenian army in the Fizulin district of Azerbaijan, the Azeri
Defense Ministry press service reported on Wednesday.
One Armenian soldier was killed and several were wounded in the
exchange of fire, the source said.
The ceasefire regime was established between Azerbaijan and Armenia
in May 1994. The OSCE regularly organizes monitoring on the frontline
to get information on the observance by the parties of the ceasefire
conditions.
