PanARMENIAN.Net - A fight occurred between the bodyguards of Turkish
public security forces official Serdar Kilic and residents of a
village of Al-Bireh in the north of Lebanon.
As the editor-in-chief of Beirut-based Aztag daily Shahan Kandaharian
told PanARMENIAN.Net Kilic and a former head of administration had
difficulty stopping the skirmish.
The fight was caused by Kilic's decision to cancel his visit to the
village, instead opting to continue his way to Aintab, a village with a
majority of Turkish population. "The clash reveals actual relationship
between Ankara and Turkish-populated villages of Lebanon," Kandaharian
said.
