PanARMENIAN.Net - Despite their pledges, parties actively apply black
PR against one another during their election campaigns, Armenian
political expert said.
Dwelling on the use of modern technologies in their campaign, Karen
Kocharyan noted that "old" politicians don't use them, preferring to
maintain the tradition, in contrast to the new ones.
The expert further cited election campaigns of Satik Seyranyan,
Gohar Veziryan and Samvel Farmanyan as a positive example.
As for coverage of elections by different media formats, Mr. Kocharyan
favored the changes television has undergone.
According to him, print media fails to keep pace with changes,
continuing biased coverage of elections. "The biased coverage of
election processes by television was understandable before, but not
now," the expert said.
