"Not recognizing the Armenian Genocide is one of the obstacles for
Turkey to enter EU" French Presidential Candidate Francois Hollande
said in his interview to "Le Nouvel Obs" journal.
Ha has mentioned several other obstacles -the fact that the issue of
Cyprus is not resolved, the problem of the level of democracy. Because
of these obstacles the process of Turkey's entering EU will not finish
in the coming five years.
Hollande is for continuing the dialogue with Turkey: he has added
that the tension which Sarkozy has maintained in the relations with
Ankara over the past five years contradicts to the interests of the
official Paris.
