IAEA AND ARMENIA HAVE A COMMON OBJECTIVE OF REINFORCING THE SECURITY OF ANPP

President Serzh Sargsyan received today Yukiya Amano, Director of
the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Greeting the guest, the President underlined that nuclear energy
is of vital importance to Armenia, and our country attaches great
importance to the cooperation with IAEA, viewing it as an important
component of our country's energy and nuclear security.
Yukiya Amano noted that IAEA and Armenia have a common objective of
reinforcing the security of the acting nuclear power plant and close
cooperation on the construction of the new one.
