TOBBY LITT TO COLLABORATE WITH ARMENIAN WRITERS

English writer Tobby Litt, who in 2003 was nominated as one of the 20
'Best of Young British Novelists' by Granta magazine, is visiting
Yerevan to attend the World Book Capital 2012 celebrations.
According to a press release by the British Council, Litt is also
expected to meet with his Armenian colleagues to discuss prospects
of collaboration and possibilities of establishing ties in literary
circles.
The writer is visiting Armenia upon the invitation of the Ministry
of Culture.
Tob Litt was born in Bedford in 1968. He studied at Bedford Modern
School, read English at Worcester College, Oxford and studied Creative
Writing at the University of East Anglia where he was taught by Malcolm
Bradbury. His first book, Adventures in Capitalism, was published in
1996. Litt also edited the 13th edition of New Writing and is known
for naming his books in alphabetical order.
In the course of his visit to Yerevan, Litt will conduct master
classes of Creative Writing for English language university teachers.
