AZERBAIJAN OPENS FIRE ON THE SANITARY CAR IGNORING THE HUMANITARIAN PROVISIONS

YEREVAN, APRIL 26, ARMENPRESS. During the last few days the opponent
started to intensively violate the cease fire regime in the contact
line.200 shots were fired towards the trench keepers as a result of
which injured are registered in Karabkh's side.
Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army media and propaganda department informed
Armenpress that the opponent opened fire to Armenian position from
eastern direction by " ISTIGAL" type weapon to the sanitary car on
April 24; reportedly Andranik Madoyan, Ernest Sargsyan Defence Army
soldiers were wounded.
Nagorno Karabakah Defense Army statement runs as follows:
"Above mentioned fact reaffirms that the opponent continues its
destabilizing strategy in Armenian -Azerbaijani contact line and
ignoring humanitarian provisions of Geneva Conventions opens fire
even towards sanitary car regardless the logo " red cross" on it .
