FIRST YEREVAN BUSINESS FORUM "EURASIAN BREAKTHROUGH" TO BE HELD WITHIN EXPO-RUSSIA ARMENIA 2012

YEREVAN, April 27. /ARKA/. The first business forum "Eurasian
breakthrough" will be organized within EXPO-RUSSIA ARMENIA 2012
5th anniversary exhibition in Yerevan, Head of the coordinating
committee of "The Role of NGOs in the formation of the Eurasian Union"
International Forum Andrey Smirnov said.
The forth Armenian-Russian industrial exhibition EXPO-RUSSIA ARMENIA
2011, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Armenia's independence,
was held in Armenia on November 3-5 last year.
The exhibition gathered nearly 70 enterprises from 30 regions
of Russia and Armenia operating in energy, engineering, mining,
medicine, nano-technolgies, transport and communication, construction
and agriculture.
The exhibition organizers are Zarubezh- expo OJSC and Multi group
concern.
"This forum will focus on issues related to attracting economic
processes and integration for our countries," Smirnov said Friday
during the Yerevan-Moscow-Astana video conference on "The Role of NGOs
in the formation of the Eurasian Union" topic at Novost International
Press center.
He added that it will ensure expanding the number of exhibition
attendants besides Russia and Armenia.
Last year the participants from other Commonwealth states, in
particular Kentau Transformer Plant representing industrial sector
of Kazakhstan joined the exhibition.
"The Role of NGOs in the formation of the Eurasian Union" International
Forum is being held in Armenia on April 27-28. Its participants are
parliamentarians, representatives of NGOs and CIS and Baltic expert
community. The Forum is targeted at fostering newly elected Russian
president Vladimir Putin's initiative to establish new integrated
union on the post-soviet territory - Eurasian Union.
