PanARMENIAN.Net - The election campaign records no serious incidents,
except for some attempts by governmental bodies to spread fear among
the people, Heritage party's candidate Stepan Safaryan told a press
conference on April 27.
Safaryan considers the campaign coverage to be balanced, complaining
only of some "dirty propaganda and anti-propaganda".
Stepan Safaryan who runs by majority system in constituency 1, names
Ruben Hayrapetyan as his key rival.
"Heritage believes there is a coalition responsible for the political
situation in the country, and does not consider the Republican Party
of Armenia, Prosperous Armenia and Orinats Yerkir separately," he said.
Safaryan believes Heritage is the favourite of the upcoming race,
reiterating the statement voiced by his party fellow Zaruhi Postanjyan
saying Heritage will combat any violations of the voting outcome.
"We will do our best for the future of the Republic of Armenia,"
candidate declared.
