NEW FORMAT OF BALLOT PAPERS APPROVED IN ARMENIA

The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia has approved two new
ballot paper formats for the upcoming parliamentary polls, News
Armenia reports.
CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan said that they will be printed at Tigran
Mets. CEC Secretary Armen Smbatyan noted that the proportional ballot
papers include 8 parties and a bloc.
The list of parties and the blocs is as follows: Prosperous Armenia,
Heritage, Armenian National Congress, Dashnaktsutyun, Democratic Party,
Communist Party, Republican Party, United Armenians and Orinats Yerkir.
Ballot papers for the majority system will be orange, together with its
envelope. The top part will have the number of the electoral district,
then go the names of candidates.
Electoral districts with only one candidate will only have a choice
to vote for or against the candidate.
