Political expert: The reason of aggressive actions of Azerbaijan is
aspiration of its authorities to enhance their positions

The provocative actions of Azerbaijan have no strategic intention. By
the anti-Armenian propaganda the authorities of Azerbaijan want to
distract attention from hotter problems, first of all the social ones,
political expert Narek Galstyan said at today's press-conference.
"There is no Azerbaijani nation as such, and a man with an Azerbaijani
passport may be a Lezgin, Turk, Kurd, whoever, but not an Azerbaijani.
Each of these
ethnic groups says that just they are the Azerbaijani nation. The well
drawn out tactics of the authorities is stemming just from this. They
want to concentrate the attention of the society at common external
enemy and to create the local consolidated atmosphere", - Galstyan
said.
In this context, he said that Armenia is a subsidiary silver coin in
this game of the regime ruling in Azerbaijan, as just with a help of
hysteria around the Armenians, in Baku they want to enhance their
positions. This is their final goal. He also added that the world
community does not play a significant part in settlement of this
problem. He pointed at silent OSCE Minsk Group, which is limited only
by soft challenges to stop such actions. "They do not apply the true
measures which would limit aggressive actions of Azerbaijan. The
actions of Azerbaijan do not meet international law norms and fully
contradict them. This is an obvious violation of the international law
norms, which remains without punishment", - the expert said and added
that only the armed forces of Armenia are able to offer the relevant
rebuff.
To remind, three servicemen of the Armenian Defense Ministry were
killed as a result of the ceasefire breach by the Azerbaijani party in
the area of Tavush region. The incident was registered at 4:15am on
April 27 near the villages of Movses and Aygepar. The Azerbaijani
party fired at a VAZ 2107 car with three servicemen inside. Two of
them died in the place, the other - on the way to hospital. The
Foreign Ministry of Armenia has applied to OSCE CIO Personal
Representative Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk over the ceasefire breaches
by the Azerbaijani party and requested experts to study the situation
in the place.
President of Armenia promised to give adequate answer to shots from
the Azerbaijani side. "Let no one think they can benefit from the
political process in our country, let no one think we are busy with
the election processes," Serzh Sargsyan said and added that the answer
to the incident is inevitable. "We have a strong army and we will
resort to necessary steps. I don't think anyone doubts the strength of
our defense forces," Serzh Sargsyan said on 27 April during the
meeting with voters in Tavush region.
