PROTEST ACTION TO BE HOLD IN FRONT OF ARMENIAN POLICE ON HARSNAKAR RESTAURANT CASE

YEREVAN. - A protest action will be held in front of the Police at
5.30 p.m. on Thursday in Armenia. We Demand to Punish All the Accused
on the Harsnakar Case initiative released a statement on this regard.
"The police assurance to secure public investigation and negligence
of the demand for securing effective investigation voiced by the
followers and their lawyers on Vahe Avetyan and the Harsnakar case,
which was of great resonance, is incompatible. As the first step,
we demand to submit all the documents and materials to the lawyers
on the case," the statement reads.
To note, Avetyan would have been 33-year-old on Thursday.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, an incident had occurred
at Yerevan's Harsnaqar Restaurant on June 17, where several military
doctors including Edgar Mikoyan, Arkadi Aghajanyan, Garik Soghomonyan,
Artak Bayadyan and Vahe Avetyan were brutally beaten by Hayrapetyan's
security personnel. Vahe Avetyan died in hospital on June 29. The
Police have detained six people.
