PanARMENIAN.Net - The man selling tickets at the Excel Trade Center
where Olympic tournaments are held is not an Azerbaijani official,
the head of the Azerbaijani Olympic delegation to London said.
As Ilham Madatov noted, he himself buys tickets for $195 and hands
them to Azerbaijani officials, vestnikkavkaza reported citing 1news.az
reports.
According to Sky News, a man claiming to work for the ministry of
Azerbaijan has sold a "complimentary" 2012 ticket to an undercover
Sky News reporter.
At London's Excel centre, and just a few yards from police, the man
was offering tickets for the men's flyweight boxing event on August 3.
The ticket purchased for £20 had "Azerbaijan Olympic Committee"
printed on the front. The seller did not speak English but his friend
translated his claim he had already sold several of the tickets.
