    YEREVAN, ARMENPRESS 1, ARMENPRESS: "Bears" cave of Vayots Dzor province
    is the longest cave in the area of the Republic. In the case of proper
    protection and supervision the cave tends to become Armenian tourism
    "brend".

    "Trchkan" Civil Initiative geographer Levon Galstyan had a briefing
    with the journalists on August 1, Armenpress reports." The issue
    enabling the visit of the tourists into the caves is considered to
    be the main problem referring to the caves" Galstyan noted.

    "Bears" cave, in accordance to the geographer, has a serious potential
    to become touristic center, in case " a new draft pertain to caves
    is elaborated".

    Conservation Service, Environmental Protection Department head
    Artavazd Zakyan assures, the organization is high aware of the problems
    concerning to all 19 thousand historical and cultural monuments .

    The interlocutor informed their service actively follows up the
    protection, violation of the monuments and if necessary sets an
    affair going.

    The utilization of caves (special ecosystems) requires particular
    carefulness in accordance with the specialists.

    "Bears" cave may become available for tourists only if the safeguard
    of the tourists and complete protection is guaranteed. The cave is
    situated in Vayots Dzor province, 150 kilometers away from capital
    Yerevan, nearby Noravank monastery. One could get there only on foot,
    in extremely narrow paths, yet these difficulties are compensated by
    watching full-handmade miracle of the nature.
