LIFEGUARDS RESCUED 14 PEOPLE IN LAKE SEVAN

YEREVAN.- Five fatal cases were registered in Armenia's Lake Sevan
this year, emergency situations ministry official told reporters
on Wednesday.
Samvel Lazarian presented the work of lifeguard squad of the Armenian
emergency situation ministry saying that fourteen people were rescued
by lifeguards in the Lake this year. He said the number of fatal cases
has reduced as compared with previous years which is the result of
lifeguards' work and work with the citizens. Lazarian also underscored
the importance of raising awareness about safety rules.
