    RUSSIA TO RELEASE SPECIAL STAMP IN HONOR TO ARSEN GALSTYAN

    YEREVAN

    YEREVAN, AUGUST 3, ARMENPRESS: Central Bank of the Russian Federation
    is set to release special stamps with the portraits of London Olympiad
    Russian champions . Armenpress reports citing "Russia" TV channel.

    Currently three Russian athletes have won Olympic gold medals: our
    compatriot 60 kilogram Arsen Galstyan is also included in the number
    of the winners.

    Armenian sportsman was the first Russian athletes, and generally in the
    history of modern Russia's judo, who became the London Olympic Games.

    Arsen Galstyan was born in the Republic of Armenia, Tavush region,
    yet currently he habits in Krasnodar city, Russian Federation.

    At 2012 London Summer Olympics, Russia is expected to win around
    70 medals and end the medal totally at No. 3 spot, similar to its
    performance in the previous edition.

    No Russian teams have qualified for the sports of field hockey or
    football for these Games.

    This marks the first time for Russia that the women outnumbered the men
    at the Games, and that the national flag will be carried by a woman.
