Director of Grandma's Tattoos marries

Swedish-Armenian film director Syzanne Khardalian, best known to the
Armenian audience as the author of Grandmas Tattoos, has got married,
it emerged today.
The laureate of the 9th international film festival Golden Apricot has
been receiving congratulations on Facebook since morning; she has
correspondingly updated her status.
As the director told Tert.am in an exclusive conversation, it is
already 22 years she has been married to the film's producer, Pea
Holmquist. They together appeared in other joint projects in the past.
It is noteworthy that Grandmas Tattoos was produced by the film
company Peå Holmquist Film HB.
The two directors have now launched a new and risky project featuring
the developments in the Middle East. Speaking about their marriage
Khardalian said it was her husband's idea to publicize the fact. She
herself considers the idea `crazy romanticism'.
