Syrian Ambassador to UN calls resolution voting `a piece of theater'

Syrian ambassador to the UN Bashar Ja'afari said his family is
receiving threats.
Addressing the UN Security Council on Friday Ja'afari said he got
threats via media and websites registered in the U.S., Saudi Arabia
and Qatar. The Ambassador said he had informed US agencies about the
threats.
The UN Security Council adopted resolution on Syria by 133 votes to
12, with 31 abstentions. Armenia abstained from voting.
Bashar Ja'afari said the voting was `a piece of theater' and called
resolution's main sponsors, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain, `despotic
oligarchies.'
