SYRIAN-ARMENIANS WOULD HARDLY FIND JOB IN ARMENIA-EXPERT

YEREVAN. - Even if the Syrian-Armenians come to Yerevan, they would
hardly find job, expert on Armenian Diaspora Petros Hovhannisyan told
the journalists adding lots of Armenians from Aleppo have applied
for the dual citizenship.
"The Syrian-Armenians have affection for their homeland and they have
always been loyal to [the Syrian President] Bashar Al-Assad. As soon
as the situation gets more stable they will return to their homes.
Part of them left for Lebanon during the uprising, however, they are
ready to return to Syria as soon as they can," Hovhannisyan said.
At the same time the Syrian compatriots will hardly tend to stay in
Armenia for a long time. The representatives of the Armenian community
in Syria are mainly dealing with jewelry. Men are jewelers and women
- confectioners.
"It will be tough to find job in Armenia," he emphasized expressing
hope that Armenian community of Aleppo will be preserved.
