The clashes between government forces and rebels in Syria's largest
city Aleppo have reached Armenian-populated districts, a source said.
Last night clashes broke out near the Armenian-populated districts
and within them, a source in the Armenian community told Armenian
News-NEWS.am.
"Confrontation started at about 4 a.m. and continued till 9 in the
morning. It was the most awful night since the conflict started,"
the source said.
According to him, Armenians of Aleppo intend to temporarily leave
their homes. The source said Armenians were not affected in clashes.
About 50-60 thousand Armenian reside in Syria.
