ARMENIA: ON COPPER, FERRO-ALLOY, GOLD, AND ZINC EXPORTS IN H1 2012

According to Armenia's State Revenue Committee, copper ore and
concentrate exports amounted to 63,200 tons in H1 2012 compared with
55,000 tons in the described period in 2011. Exports in value declined
from USD 130mn (EUR 104.62mn) to USD 112.8mn. Processed copper exports
rose from 4,300 tons worth USD 59.3mn to 4,900 tons worth USD 53.5mn.
Ferro-alloy exports reached 2,700 tons to the tune of USD 53.3mn
compared with 2,726 tons worth USD 64.5mn in H1 2011. Gold exports
reached 1.121 tons (938 kilograms in H1 2011) worth USD 35mn (USD
22mn), zinc ore and concentrate 9,150 tons (7,950 tons).
