ARMAVIA LAUNCHES FLIGHTS TO TRANSPORT SYRIAN-ARMENIAN CHILDREN

YEREVAN.- Armavia, together with the Armenian government, plans to
launch flights to Aleppo and Damascus to transport Syrian-Armenian
children starting from August 9.
The project is carried out within the framework of Diaspora Ministry
program.
"Starting from August 9 Armavia will operate special
Yerevan-Aleppo-Yerevan and Yerevan-Damascus-Yerevan flights. The first
Yerevan-Damascus-Yerevan flight is scheduled for August 9. The second
flight to Damascus will be carried out on August 23," the company
said in a statement.
An additional Yerevan-Aleppo-Yerevan flight will be operated today.
Armavia will carry 105 passengers to Armenia.
