VANADZOR " CHEMPROM" RESTORES THE PRODUCTION OF FERTILIZERS

YEREVAN, AUGUST 9, ARMENPRESS: Armenia restores the production
of Soviet era Vanadzor " Chemprom" nitrogenous and potassic type
fertilizers. As Armenpress reports First Deputy Minister of Agriculture
Grisha Baghiryan came forth with the statement in the course of the
briefing with the journalists, Armenpress reports.
" During the last 20 years the usage of organic fertilizers in
Armenia has been within the limits, yet chemical fertilizers have
not been utilized." Chemprom "expressed willingness to restore its
former manufacturing plant. It will produce nitrogenous and potassic
fertilizers" Baghiryan told. In the words of the interlocutor
Agriculture, Energy and Natural Resources ministries are going to
support the plant to launch the production, to determine payable
demand, to send to laboratory examination, as well as to ensure
appropriate consultation process.
Deputy Minister also noted that local fertilizers will be of better
quality and about 30-40 percent more affordable than the silitra .The
fertilizer will be produced in the place from local raw materials.
