    Armenian church in Malatya to be renovated

    YEREVAN, AUGUST 18, ARMENPRESS: Turkey's Malatya Governor Ulvi Saran
    announced four historical monuments are scheduled to be renovated
    aimed at turning Malatya attractive for tourists , Armenian Tashoron
    church inclusive.
    As Armenpress reports citing Turkish `'Jihan'' news agency, Saran
    stated Tashoron church is set to be repaired the first, Chamurlu
    village Shapel monastery, Arabkir district based Eyup mosque and
    public bath are going to follow it.
    In the words of Saran prime contractor company name is known and the
    works are set to be launched under the responsibility of Malatya
    Governorate Monument Protection and Control Office.
    Malatya is a city in southeastern Turkey and the capital of its
    eponymous province. The current city of Malatya was founded in 1838,
    with the old site of Mitilene now designated as Old Malatya.
