Brazil Donates USD 100,000 to Armenian Children

The Brazilian embassy to Armenia reports that in an effort to help the
Armenian Government to improve the situation of Armenian children all
over the country, the Brazilian Government decided to make a donation
in the amount of US $ 100,000.00 to the United Nations Children's Fund
(UNICEF) Representation in Armenia.
The extraordinary donation is aimed to support the activities
undertaken by UNICEF in Armenia within the framework of the long-term
humanitarian and development assistance to the most vulnerable groups,
such as boys, girls, adolescents, pregnant women and mothers, in
partnership with civil society.
Brazil is convinced that the welfare of children all over the world is
essential, if we want to build a better future with equal
opportunities for all.
The symbolic Ceremony of Donation will take place in the premises of
the UNICEF Representation Office in Yerevan on August 24, 2012, at 11
a.m.
