3 penitentiary employees fired in Armenia

YEREVAN. - Three employees of the Nubarashen and Vanadzor
penitentiaries at the Armenian Ministry of Justice were fired by the
decree of the Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasyan on Wednesday for not
carrying out their duties properly.
Two employees of the Nubarashen penitentiary, Vahagn Grigoryan and
Arman Artashesyan, were fired as they tried to pass a cell phone to
one of the prisoners in an exchange for a reward, the Ministry's press
service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
At the same time another employee of the Vanadzor penitentiary Sayat
Avagyan for unjustified absences following the vacation.
