Teenage drowns in Armenia's Lake Sevan

SEVAN. - A teenage drowned in Lake Sevan in Armenia's Gegharkunik
Region. Rescuers took out of the water the body of Astghadzor village
resident 15-year-old Arabo Shahbayan at 4.45 p.m. on Wednesday, water
rescue group head Samvel Lazarian told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
As the agency informed earlier, an alarm received at 2.39 p.m. on the
same day claimed that a boy got drowned in the lake and rescuers were
required.
A body of another young man was found in Lake Sevan on August 12. The
rescuers took out of the water the body of Aygestan Poghosyan,
29-year-old resident of Nor village.
Earlier the Emergency Situations Ministry said five fatal cases were
registered in Armenia's Lake Sevan over seven months. Fourteen people
were rescued by lifeguards.
