A roundtable was yesterday held in the Republican Union of Employers
of Armenia dedicated to migration and work protection. A number of
representatives of the government of Armenia, Confederation of trade
unions, Moscow office of International Labor Organization and SMEs
    attended the event.

UN expert Natalya Hoffman told Pastinfo that the working conditions
and the migration are correlated. It is important for Armenia to base
these two processes on international measurements.

The participants of the roundtable noted that the method of
calculation of migration processes applied in Armenia can't show the
real situation. A more serious professional approach is necessary. It
is necessary that the state circles dealing with this issue improved.

They noted that migration from Armenia is seasonal. The main target is
Russia which receives the 90% of Armenian migrants the large part of
    which is construction specialists.
