NATO representative visits Armenia

YEREVAN. - NATO Liaison Officer on South Caucasus Region, William
Lahue, paid a working visit to Armenia on Wednesday and Thursday.
On Wednesday, Lahue was received by First Deputy Defense Minister
Davit Tonoyan, MOD press service informs.
During the meeting, they discussed the Armenia-NATO cooperation in the
sphere of defense and the avenues for expanding this cooperation, as
well as NATO's assistance to Armenia's defense reforms. Also, they
reflected on regional security in the South Caucasus.
The NATO Liaison Officer on South Caucasus Region also visited the
Armenian MOD Peacekeeping Brigade and toured the Humanitarian Demining
and Expertise Center, where he got familiar with Armenia's progress in
peacekeeping and military interoperability.
