YEREVAN. - Hraparak daily writes that even though Armenian National
Assembly (NA) MPs' vacations ended on August 18, it is still a
non-working environment at the NA building.
`Renewal of the heating system has not ended, there is construction
waste at the corridors, the rooms are not furnished yet, and, even if
NA MPs very much wish to carry out legislative work, they will not be
able to.
This shows that the notions about [NA Speaker] Hovik Abrahamyan being
an organizer are exaggerated. Or, he is fully indulged in the local
government elections [to be held in September]. To note, he is the
[ruling Republican Party] RPA's coordinator for the local government
elections,' Hraparak writes.
