A REPUBLICAN PARTY PARLIAMENTARIAN'S GUARD KNOCKS DOWN AND KILLS A MAN

A 52-year-old Vachagan Hayrapetyan was hit to death by a BMW 745 on
Isakov Ave, Yerevan, on August 27.
The Police press-service told ArmInfo Hayrapetyan was hospitalized
immediately. Unfortunately, he died at Malatia Medical Center on the
day of his birthday.
Mass Media report that the driver was Robert Gevorgyan, one of the
bodyguards of the Republican Party parliamentarian Seyran Saroyan.
A criminal case based on Article 242.2 of the Criminal Code of Armenia
(violation of the traffic rules leading to human death) has been
initiated. Robert Gevorgyan is facing up to 5 years in prison.
The Police told ArmInfo they have no information on identity of
the driver.
