    YEREVAN

    YEREVAN, AUGUST 28, ARMENPRESS: The law of the Republic of Armenia on
    Income Tax does not stipulate salary reduction. Minister of Labor and
    Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Artem Asatryan came forth
    in the press conference hosted in Armenian Government on August 28,
    Armenpress reports.

    In accordance with the new law income tax, obligatory social security
    payments as well as personal social payments became one under income
    tax. The law adopted within pension reforms will enter into force
    started 2013 January. So the task is not to optimize the employers'
    accounts, which will exceptionally be carried out by electronic way.

    >From now and then the employers will not be forced to visit tax
    authorities "said Asatryan.

    In the words of Minister of Finance Vache Gabrielyan in accordance
    with this law any employee is set to receive not less wage than
    received in January."The law is elaborated the way the real income
    of the employers would not increase " Minister of Finance noted. The
    law of the Republic of Armenia on Income Tax was adopted in 2010,
    on December 22. Income Tax Law adopted in 1997 will be out of force
    the moment the new law enters into force.
