ARMENIAN OPPOSITION PARTY LEADER MEETS US AMBASSADOR

YEREVAN. - The U. S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern met on
Wednesday the Armenian parliament opposition Heritage party leader
Raffi Hovannisian.
The sides discussed issues on domestic and foreign policy of Armenia,
as well as touched upon the upcoming presidential elections, which are
going to be held next February, Heritage press service informs.
U.S. Embassy Yerevan representative Brian Roraff as well as Heritage
party representative Hovsep Khurshudyan also took part in the meeting.
To note, earlier Armenian News-NEWS.am informed that Hovannisian will
run in next year's presidential elections and he will be happy to
receive the support of a variety of political parties and powers.
