THE DIRECTOR OF THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES PROMISED TO PUBLISH EXCLUSIVE DOCUMENTS ABOUT THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE IN TURKISH

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS: The National Archives of
Armenia continue to publish and to introduce to the judgment of the
international community the important and exclusive documents advancing
the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The three volume-work
"the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire: the Testimonies of
the Survivors. Archival Documents", where the testimonies of the
survivors of the Armenian Genocide given in 1916 are presented, will
be translated in Russian, English and Turkish soon. In the publishing
and translation of the three-volume the public organization "Van"
supports the National Archive under the auspices of its founder and
president Gagik Melikyan. As reports "Armenpress" the Director of
National Archives of Armenia Amatuni Virabyan mentioned at the press
conference that the translations of the three-volume will be involved
in one volume.
The Armenian version will appear on sale in all bookstores next week.
The sale proceeds of the three-volume will be dedicated to the
implementation of the translation, which will be posted on the
website as well. Virabyan assured that the public is very interested
in the books.
