Recently the members of the "Artsakh Youth Development Center"
non-governmental organization participated in the "Stable Development
as a Key to Future Challenges" programme within the framework of the
"Youth in Action" project which took place in Switzerland.
The programme financed by the European Union was participated by
17 young men from 6 countries such as Switzerland, France, Artsakh,
Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Within the framework of the four-day
programme various projects to be implemented with joint efforts in
the nearest future were discussed.
In her interview to Karabakh-open.info chairman of the "Artsakh Youth
Development Center" non-governmental organization Sousanna Petrosyan
said that it was the first time the members of the organization
had participated in such an international programme where Artsakh
was presented in a separate team and not as part of the Armenian
delegation.
"The programme provided a good chance to the young people of Artsakh
to get acquainted with new people, new culture and to present their
own country, culture and history to their contemporaries," S. Petrosyan noted.
At present the "Artsakh Youth Development Center" has worked out
a programme and is going to present it to the organizers for the
implementation of the "Youth in Action" regular programme in Artsakh.
"If we manage to be a host-country this year, it will be our second
victory," S. Petrosyan concluded.
