Head of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Nikolay
Bordyuzha considers inexpedient CSTO's interference in the Karabakh
conflict.
"Several mechanisms are engaged in settlement of the Karabakh
conflict, for example the OSCE Minsk Group. Therefore, we believe
CSTO's interference is inexpedient and counterproductive," Russia's
Noviye Izvestiya daily quotes Bordyuzha.
Asked about CSTO-Armenia relations, Bordyuzha pointed out close
contacts between the CSTO Secretariat and Armenia's National Security
Council headed by Arthur Baghdasaryan.
"Thanks to his initiatives and efforts, several Armenia-Russia joint
ventures have been established in defense sector. The CSTO Information
Center is also functioning in Armenia," Boryuzha stressed.
