Baku. Anakhanum Hidayetova - APA. "Armenia is the main bulwark and
partner of Russia in the South Caucasus," said the member of the
Russian Federal Council, chairman of the parliamentary commission on
cooperation with Armenia Nikolay Rijkov to journalists in the capital
of Armenia, APA reports quoting the "Armeniya Novosti" news agency.
According to him, there are special mutual relations between Armenia
and Russia, and both the government and common people are aware of it.
"At least, we do not hide that you are our main bulwark in the South
Caucasus. Therefore, the development of inter-state relations is
significant, especially in military and humanitarian spheres."
