Armenia's Ambassador to Georgia, Hovhannes Manukyan, met, on Thursday
in Karmir village, with the school principals of the
Armenian-populated villages in Georgia's Marneuli District.
The objective of the ambassador's visit was to find out the challenges
the Armenian schools in the district face and to assist in resolving
these problems.
Learning about the key issues of these schools, Manukyan offered some
proposals toward resolving these matters and expressed a hope that
these issues will be settled.
At the same time he expressed a readiness to hold such meetings
regularly, and asked the school principals to submit to Armenia's
Embassy in Tbilisi - and if necessary - all matters that require an urgent
solution.
