EU hopes to complete negotiations with Armenia on deep and
comprehensive free trade agreement till November 2013

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 1, ARMNEPRESS: Armenia is a very important partner
for EU both from the point of bilateral relations and in frames of
Eastern partnership. As reports Armenpress this was stated by José
Manuel Barroso during the joint brief with Armenian President Serzh
Sargsyan. `We are building a strong partnership based on association,
economic integration and closer from the point of human interaction.
Negotiations over the association agreement including deep and
comprehensive free trade agreement have recorded a great progress'
Barroso noted.
European Commission President Manuel Barroso also hoped that
negotiations on deep and comprehensive free trade agreement would be
completed till November 2013.
`The end of negotiations will strengthen the European prospect of
Armenia' Barroso underlined.
He also reminded that lately Armenian and EU had completed
negotiations on facilitation of movement and that till the end of the
year the Visa facilitation and readmission agreement will be signed.
`Our aim is clear, we want the visa free transportation between
Armenia and EU' said President of European Commission.
José Manuel Barroso expressed gratitude to Armenian President Serzh
Sargsyan for the enormous contribution made personally by President in
the development of Armenia-EU relations.
