HRANUSH HAKOBYAN AND UN REPRESENTATIVE DISCUSSED ISSUES OF SYRIAN ARMENIANS

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS: Minister of Armenian Ministry of
Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan hosted Patrice Coeur-Bizot representative
of UN Development Agency. As Armenpress was informed from the press
and public relations department of Armenian Ministry of Diaspora
sides were willing to cooperate.
Armenian Minister Hranush Hakobyan presented the main direction of
Ministry's activity noting that some provisions of the UN Development
Agency were in line with the programs of Ministry of Diaspora.
Interlocutors also discussed some issues on Syrian situation mainly
on the Syrian Armenians sheltered in Armenia. Participants expressed
their opinions on possible cooperation and reached an agreement to
clarify the goals and take practical steps.
