GEORGIAN DEFENSE MINISTER RECEIVED SEYRAN OHANYAN INVITATION TO VISIT ARMENIA

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS: Hovhannes Manukyan, Armenian
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia had a meeting
with Irakli Alasania, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. As
Information and Public Relations department informed Armenpress,
congratulating Mr. Alasania on the occasion of appointment to that
responsible post, Ambassador Manukyan expressed hope the partnership
relations between the two countries will pursue the same existing
high level.
Georgian Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the close
cooperation. Top official stated Armenian-Georgian bilateral relations
are one of the most important directions in the defense sphere.
Moreover Georgian Defense head expressed willingness to continue
close cooperation with the Armenian side in accordance with the
partnership spirit already formed between the sides. In the course of
the meeting the sides expressed unanimous opinion to further develop
current cooperation.
The interlocutors discussed issues refer to cooperation between
Armenian and Georgian Defense headquarters and issues of mutual
interest. Ambassador Manukyan handed Armenian Defense Minister Seyran
Ohanyan congratulatory letter and invitation to visit Armenia. Irakli
Alasania accepted the invitation with gratitude.
