ARMENIAN AUTHORITIES READY TO SUPPORT OMANIAN INVESTORS
YERAVAN, December 6. /ARKA/. Armenian authorities are willing to start
discussions with the involved organizations of Sultanate of Oman to
attract Omanian capital into the country's economy under mutually
beneficial conditions.
The press service of the Armenian foreign ministry told ARKA Agency
that opportunities for Armenia-Oman joint ventures and investments
programs have been discussed at the meeting of Armenian ambassador to
Sultanate of Oman Fadey Charchoghlyan with the chairman of Oman chamber
of trade and commerce Ayman bin Abdullah bin Mohammad al Husein.
The sides discussed how to promote cooperation between trade and
commerce chambers of the countries.
Charchoghlyan presented the economic fields where Armenia made
progress, agriculture, tourism, jewelry industry, real estate, mining
and chemical industry in particular. The ambassador suggested starting
cooperation in those fields.
Charchoghlyan was received also by the chairman of Omanian parliament
Khalid bin Hilal Al Mawali and discussed opportunities for cooperation
between the two countries' lawmakers.
Khalid bin Hilal Al Mawali briefed the Armenian ambassador on the
Omanian reforms and the expected outcome and suggested discussing
possibility of signing an inter-parliament cooperation agreement. -0--
