2,700 WORKERS OF ARMENIA'S RUBBER FACTORY ARE PAID ONE MONTH'S SALARY

YEREVAN. - One month's salary for 2,700 employees of Armenia's Nairit
Rubber Factory was paid on November 29, the factory's head of press
service, Anush Harutyunyan, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
But it is not known when the remaining ten months of wage will be
paid. "An operator needs to be found to operate Nairit," Harutyunyan
said.
She informed that they have promised to pay one more month's salary
no later than December 20.
Anush Harutyunyan did not say how much the total salary debt is,
but she informed that the fund for one month's salary is $1 million.
To note, several hundred employees from Nairit Rubber Factory had
gathered across the Armenian Presidential Palace, on November 26,
demanding the payment of eleven month's salary.
