ARMENIA'S PREMIER PARTICIPATES IN GERMAN-ARMENIAN BUSINESS CONFERENCE IN FRANKFURT

An Armenian delegation led by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan arrived
in Germany for an official visit.
Armenia's premier participated in an Armenian-German business
conference at the Commerzbank. Mr Per Fischer, Head of Financial
Institutions, Senior Managing Director, representatives of Armenian
and German companies participated in the conference.
The fifteen Armenian companies participating in the conference
represented Armenia's banking system, IT sector, energy, mining
industry and agriculture.
The conference discussed the development of bilateral economic
relations, implementation of new joint programs, macroeconomic
situation in Armenia and Europe.
Armenia's premier thanked the Commerzbank for organizing the
conference. Mr Tigran Sargsyan stressed the fact of the conference
being held in Germany, which is Armenia's number one trade partner
and investor among EU member-states.
"Germany has always been assisting Armenia's economic development,
political and economic reforms. I would like to thank the German
government for rendering technical and financial assistance to Armenia
for years," Armenia's premier said.
Mr Tigran Sargsyan also held a meeting with Mr Michael Reuther,
a member of the Commerzbank Board of Managing Directors.
