300 ARMENIAN TRUCKS STUCK IN BLOCKING IN UPPER LARS

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS. About 300 Armenian trucks are stuck
on Upper Lars checkpoint on the Russian-Georgian border because of
unfavorable weather conditions. In a conversation with "Armenpress"
the Deputy Director of "Apaven" International Freight Forwarding
Company Armen Davtyan stated this. Davtyan said: "The Ministry of
Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation provides food and hot
tea to the drivers." The Deputy Director of "Apaven" International
Freight Forwarding Company noted that 200 trucks of 300 are on the
Russian side of the checkpoint.
The Press Secretary of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South
Osia Yulia Starchenko stated on December 6 that Upper Lars checkpoint
is closed because of unfavorable weather conditions.
