OMBUDSMAN'S OFFICE HAS RECEIVED 5,600 COMPLAINTS

YEREVAN.- Armenian Ombudsman's office has received 5,600 complains
from citizens willing to restore their rights since the beginning of
the year.
The office provided consultations, Ombudmsan Karen Andreasyan said,
adding that 2,290 complaints are being investigated. The major part
of complains referred to police, Labor Ministry, Justice Ministry,
Defense Ministry and Yerevan municipality.
Agreeing with most of the complaints, some state agencies, however,
in some cases, disagreed and refused to restore the violated rights
of citizens.
