President of the Green Union of Armenia Hakob Sanasaryan has withdrawn
from the Presidential Committee on Lake Sevan because none of his
proposals has been realized in the past three years.
"This is not a committee I would like to be in," he told journalists
on Tuesday.
Sanasaryan said that the key problems of Sevan today are no commercial
stock of whitefish and trout, poor work to clean up the shores,
suspicious decisions on water releases. "We thought the Committee
would be able to solve them," the expert said.
