ECONOMIC GROWTH OF ARMENIA MAY BE MORE, THAN EXPECTED: IMF REPRESENTATIVE

    17:17, 11 December, 2012

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 11, ARMENPRESS. The International Monetary Fund
considers economic growth of 4 - 4,5 percent for Armenia by the end
    of the year.

As reprts "Armenpress" IMF Resident Representative in Armenia
Guillermo Tolosa stated this during the press conference held on
December 11. According to him if IMF considered less than 4 percent
of economic growth in Armenia for 2012, already in September of the
current year they started considering more than 4 percent of economic
growth for the Republic of Armenia.

Among other things IMF Resident Representative in Armenia Guillermo
Tolosa stated: "Frankly speaking by the end of the year the results
can be even better. There are some spheres where we can notice much
better results. Among them we can mention particularly agriculture,
mining industry, and services. It's of a certain importance that the
sphere of construction also recorded growth. By all means this tempo
is not yet so impressive, but it is rather positive result."
