    APA, Azerbaijan
    Dec 17 2012

Baku. Victoria Dementyev-APA. If John Kerry is elected as the new
Secretary of State, pro-Armenian Senator Robert Menendez may be elected
as the chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, the
source at the committee told "RIA Novosti" news agency, APA reports.

The source said that if the chairman-in-office is elected the
Secretary of State, Robert Menendez will be the real candidate for
    the vacant post.

Note that, 59-year old Pro-Armenian Menendez actively supports the
draft legislation on the imposition of sanctions against Iran. He is
one of the senators who opposed to the appointment of Matthew Bryza
    as an ambassador to Azerbaijan.
